Welcome to the Brignoni Foundation for Pregnant Teens, Inc. I am so pleased that you are visiting our site. I want to tell you a little bit about myself and the reason this Foundation was created. It began 16 years ago, when I became pregnant at the age of seventeen. I felt broken, confused, and afraid, yet I did not want to accept failure as my destiny. I wanted desperately to create a legacy of success for my son and for myself. I faced many obstacles as a young mom: I was depressed, battling addictions, and trying to navigate my way through a shadow of hopelessness. Desperate, I reached out for support and found encouragement from family, friends, and counselors who inspired me, taught me valuable living skills, and allowed me to believe in the power of Hope. The adversity I faced as a young mom has turned into a 16-year journey of love, growth, and development. My life has changed, and I am so grateful for all of the lessons that I have learned along the way.

In an effort to share the life skills that I learned, I wrote a book specifically for young moms. This resource material helps to improve young moms' life skills through an engaging, easy-to-read format. I found that many of the support organizations that are dedicated to helping this at-risk population have limited funding and resources to provide each student with this guide. So, I decided that I needed to do more in order to ensure that each at-risk girl receives a personal, encouraging, and compassionate resource from someone who has walked in their shoes; so, the Brignoni Foundation for Pregnant Teens, Inc. was created. It began as a private foundation on November 17, 2007, but I soon realized that my personal resources were not enough and that I could not run the Foundation alone. I needed the help of the community and the generosity of supporters like you to move the mission forward.

I am personally dedicated to inspiring pregnant and parenting teens to realize their highest potential. Our organization wants to show them that "Anything is Possible" with a little bit of hard work and a vision of success. I ask for your support in inspiring these young moms to create a life filled with success.
